Electrotechnician

La Boulangerie Lanthier, a subsidiary of La Fournée Dorée Group and producer of the famous brioche bread, is currently looking for a junior or senior Electrotechnician to join its maintenance team at our Baie-D’Urfé plant. Job Description

Performs all repairs and follows the preventive maintenance program thoroughly to ensure optimal equipment performance, while minimizing downtime and costs.

Responsibilities

· Support the maintenance team in collaboration with the senior electrotechnician.

· Promote best practices to improve equipment efficiency.

· Troubleshoot machinery to minimize downtime.

· Maintain and update automated systems.

· Work closely with the senior electrotechnician.

· Responsible for occasional data collection (machine backup).

· Ensure all required documents are completed accurately and on time.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, good manufacturing practices, and food safety regulations.

· Perform other job-related duties as required.

Skills & Abilities

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to process information quickly, develop action plans, and ensure thorough follow-up.

· Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000 and above) and Siemens (Step7 version 14) is an asset.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

· Detail-oriented, autonomous, and patient.

Education & Experience

· DEC in Electrotechnics / DEP in Electromechanics and/or equivalent experience

· 1 year of experience in a similar role in the food industry is an asset

· Good command of both French and English, spoken and written

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
