La Boulangerie Lanthier, a subsidiary of the La Fournée Dorée group and producer of famous brioche breads, is seeking a Maintenance Reliability Specialist & Coordinator – LFD School Trainer to join its team at the Baie-d’Urfé plant.

The Maintenance Reliability Specialist & Coordinator – Trainer is responsible for optimizing and ensuring the reliability of production equipment (preventive and predictive maintenance). They also coordinate training sessions provided under the internal LFD School program. Working in collaboration with trainers across all shifts, they act as a bridge between various departments.

  • Reduce the frequency and recurrence of breakdowns.
  • Prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance work.
  • Decrease maintenance-related costs.
  • Maintain an up-to-date work order history.
  • Optimize equipment uptime and performance.
  • Deploy a preventive and predictive maintenance program.
  • Analyze breakdowns via CMMS (GMAO) systems.
  • Track maintenance costs and propose improvement solutions.
  • Determine critical spare parts to keep in stock.
  • Update technical procedures.
  • Actively participate in change management.
  • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Perform any other related tasks requested by the supervisor.

  • Solid technical background in maintenance: CMMS software, safety regulations/standards, statistical process control, and equipment installation/repair.
  • Ability to organize and plan work, and manage multiple files simultaneously, sometimes under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to process information quickly, prepare comprehensive action plans, and ensure rigorous follow-up.

  • Present the training plan to new hires.
  • Validate the start of training for collaborators following the defined process.

  • Train maintenance technicians and validators on the LFD School module and process.
  • Monitor satisfaction surveys from trainees and provide feedback to relevant parties.
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of maintenance technicians in collaboration with the Department Manager.
  • Ensure maintenance technicians adhere to their signed commitment letter.
  • Organize meetings and training sessions.

  • Initiate training on the Intranet module.
  • Ensure proper training follow-up (adherence to the learning plan and completion of associated comments).
  • Draft M+1/M+3 reports in collaboration with the trainee’s immediate supervisor.
  • Identify internal training needs.

  • Participate in creating training matrices and providing necessary resources.
  • Update matrices in collaboration with the Group Steering Committee.
  • Centralize feedback from site referents regarding content and resource prioritization.
  • Assist in organizing video shoots on-site.

  • Provide feedback on the tools provided.
  • Prepare reports on system effectiveness.
  • Define and track KPIs (occupancy rate indicators).
  • In collaboration with HR, facilitate monthly meetings with department and site managers.
  • Any other related tasks requested by the Assistant Manager.

  • AEC, DEC, or DEP in Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position (preferred asset).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food processing industry (asse).;
  • Fluent French and functional English required for clear communication of directives (Workplace Safety, instructions, training).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint – testing required).
  • Knowledge of CMMS software (Dimo Maint is an asset).
