725 Lee Avenue, Baie-D\u2019Urf\u00e9, QC, with occasional travel to 58 Dominion St. S., Alexandria, ON, K0C 1A0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Boulangerie Lanthier, a subsidiary of La Fourn\u00e9e Dor\u00e9e Group and producer of the famous brioche breads, is currently looking for a Junior Robotician \/ Automation Technician to join its team at both the Baie-D\u2019Urf\u00e9 and Alexandria plants. If you want to join a growing family-owned company and expand your skills in the industrial bakery sector, this is your opportunity. This is a full-time position on the day shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance routines specific to robotics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Anticipate component obsolescence and propose retrofit plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Adapt to various types of equipment and programming methods while adhering to food industry standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Commission and ensure reliability of robotic installations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participate in the development and integration of new robotic systems in collaboration with the capital projects team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Proactively use internal management and monitoring software (CMMS): handle work requests, follow schedules, enter intervention reports, manage parts inventory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Support the maintenance team with troubleshooting\u2014either on-site or remotely\u2014with clear communication.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Create procedures, training modules, and plans tailored to the needs of maintenance technicians and machine operators in robotics; provide ongoing support and coaching.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Train and mentor staff in relevant areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Keep all robot-related documentation, hardware, and software up to date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Work with or supervise contractors and suppliers; liaise with them for advice or technical expertise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Ensure compliance with all internal regulations and policies (quality, hygiene, safety, environment).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Inform the direct supervisor of any anomalies encountered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Required Skills & Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree or technical diploma (Bac+3 or equivalent) in a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Electrical certification (mandatory).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Forklift or aerial lift certification (CACES or equivalent, depending on equipment used on site).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Minimum 2 years\u2019 experience as a trainer in the food processing industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Familiarity with CMMS software (Dimo Maint is considered an asset).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Must successfully complete competency tests in Excel and PowerPoint (required for hiring).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Any relevant certifications or diplomas should be listed according to the position\u2019s needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
