Job description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La Boulangerie Lanthier, a subsidiary of the La Fourn\u00e9e Dor\u00e9e group and producer of the famous brioche breads, is seeking a Process Technician to join its team at the Baie-d’Urf\u00e9 plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are looking to join a fast-growing family business and expand your skills in the industrial bakery sector, this is your chance. This is a full-time position for the evening shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operational and Administrative Management<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Review and analyze various work documents and communication supports (production schedules, activity reports, non-conformity status, customer and consumer complaints, management instructions, contract reviews, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perform machinability tests on packaging materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conduct reception tests for new packaging and packaging lots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Define and formalize setting parameters for packaging equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Provide oversight and training to trainers and packaging team leads regarding setup parameters, operating procedures, and equipment maintenance as determined by the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Identify and investigate malfunctions, take corrective actions, and monitor their implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Propose improvements for equipment, workstations, or line organization in terms of ergonomics, safety, productivity, and waste reduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participate in the commissioning of new equipment and the development of written procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prepare reports related to controls and testing, and inform relevant departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Establish and update monitoring and information logs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perform sampling of films and specific packaging for the R&D lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quality and Safety<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Comply with and enforce applicable health and safety regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apply food safety management methods (HACCP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Verify the reliability of CCP (Critical Control Points) and OP (Operational Prerequisite) control points (C-ray and flavor settings\/controls, cooling times).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Communication<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Inform relevant departments and stakeholders (team leads, maintenance technicians) of implemented processes and any adjustments made, either verbally or through written supports (CMMS\/GMAO, email).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attend various internal meetings (packaging and process).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Report any non-compliance or issues to management.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Education: A degree or training in Mechanical Engineering is an asset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Experience: Significant experience in a similar position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Industry experience: Experience in the food processing industry is an asset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Languages: Proficiency in French; English is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
